Happy Easter!

There is a lot to love about Easter, from the springtime setting with new blooming flowers to the fun Easter traditions, like dyeing Easter eggs and putting together cute Easter baskets for the kids. Here’s how you can celebrate Easter this year with your family:

  • Decorate Easter eggs

Painting and decorating Easter eggs is one of the things to do on Easter that you’ll enjoy. You can stick to painting the eggs with your favorite colors or try to add some additional decoration on them.

  • Gathering around the family table

Many families have a big party to celebrate Easter. Coming together over a big meal provides the families with time for fun, food and fellowship.

  • Egg Relay Race

After the fun of decorating Easter eggs, start a relay race with eggs! Divide every team with a hard-boiled egg and a spoon. Blow the whistle and watch the players balance an egg on the spoon walking or running to a given point and back. Then hand the egg off to the next team member and the first team to finish wins!

  • Attend Easter service at Church

For many families, Easter wouldn’t be complete without attending church to worship the service. Some churches host an early sunrise service and others hold a Saturday night Easter vigil.

  • Hunt for Easter Eggs

Holding a family easter egg hunt is a classic part of most families’ Easter celebration. There are ideas to put money, candy etc. in the eggs to make it more interesting for the kids.

Easter is a holiday of celebration that holds a special religious and historical significance. However, it doesn’t mean that those who aren’t as religious can’t enjoy the cultural and seasonal joys of the holiday as well. No matter what you decide to do to celebrate, the most important part is spending time with your family.
