Valeria Carrillo, Writer
Valeria Carrillo is a 16-year-old junior at Edison High School. She went to Roeding Elementary School as a child and Computech Middle School, before going to Fresno High in her freshman and sophomore years.
She has a variety of hobbies, including listening to music, reading books, and sleeping. Her favorite music genres are Latin, pop, and rap. She loves to read nonfiction books. Her plans after high school are to attend college and although she doesn’t have a career in mind, she hopes to figure it out in graduate school.
She chose to enroll in Journalism because she took it in middle school and would like to be in a familiar class during her first year at Edison. She’d like to write articles about music and she wants to interview students who do activities around campus, including kids in clubs, athletes, and people in leadership. She really hopes you enjoy her articles!
