Staying Physically Active

Staying physically active for at least 4 minutes a day will improve not only your physical health but your mental health too. “Regular physical activity… can reduce high blood pressure… and reduce the risk of heart disease…” according to the World Health Organization. If you’re wondering how you can remain physically active while in quarantine, it’s simple. All his, her, their, etc. need to do is take a break from sitting, “…by doing 3-4 minutes of light intensity physical movement, such as walking or stretching…” as recommended by the World Health Organization.

Thank you for this short, yet important and motivating information. I think I’m going to start doing more throughout the day to exercise and be productive, rather than doing homework all day.
