The beginning of the school year and its first semester is always an exciting time for some people. At this time of year events such as homecoming and rallies happen to possibly brighten students’ spirits and hopes of this school year after the disaster of a year last year. The main event everyone seems to be excited for is homecoming. Homecoming is a dance that takes place after a football game and would be attended by mostly couples or people that go for fun with friends. This event is also an opportunity to be social. Another event that is slightly significant is picture day. To some it is really important because that picture will be shown for the majority of the year and might reflect on who you are and what kind of person you are. To others it is not that significant since it is just a picture and since it is just a picture it can show others your natural self.  The other event that is exciting at the start of the year is club rush. A reason club rush is exciting because it is going to display the different and interesting clubs at the school that you might want to join. It also shows the diversity of classes and activities that take place in the school. Another reason club rush is exciting is that there might be a certain club that might suit your interest such as music or maybe even anime. You can even join your friends in the club to make it even more fun and enjoyable. So, when schools open up and the first semester starts rolling, these are the events that students primarily are interested in and are looking forward to.
