The School’s 1st Rally 

At Edison High on August 20th of 2021 the school had it’s first rally. After a year and a half of no in person school from March of 2019, schools have reopened. Our school celebrated this with a rally outside in the auditorium since our school Gym is currently being constructed on. There were two rally’s for the occasion: Rally A and Rally B. 

The Rally consisted of small little activities for students to come up and play. There were 3 performers who sang. And a speech welcoming everyone back to Edison and for those who were new at Edison; such as the Freshman and Sophomores. The auditorium was divided into 4ths to separate each grade. The Sophomores on the left, Juniors and Seniors in the middle, and Freshman on the right. 

Some students’ thoughts on Back-to-School 

“How do you feel being back to school and having a rally on the 1st week?”  

“The 1st week was fine and the rally is cool I guess.” 

“Anything in particular that you found amusing or entertaining about the rally?” 

“The one thing I found amusing were the games.” 

“And lastly how do you think this rally will affect you and other students on campus?” 

“ It probably won’t affect me or other students.” 

 Some kids found the rally amusing and some just found it as a way of taking a break from class.

But overall the rally introduced the EDISON WAY.
