The Hmong club had an icebreaker meeting on September 8th that was very successful with 42 members being there. The icebreaker started afterschool at 4:30 P.M. and ended at 7:00 P.M. There were fun activities and delicious food brought by both members and officers.
Once everyone settled in, many of the members participated in the activities to get to know one another. Those activities included “the tornado is coming”, “sharks and minnows”, and “telephone”. Everyone had a good laugh and a lot of fun at the games. Afterward, the club enjoyed a potluck of many delicious dishes.
The president of the Hmong club Stacy Her said “I enjoyed everyone having fun and that was the most fun part about everything.” when asked what she enjoyed the most about the icebreaker. One member, Nevaeh Ramos, a sophomore who just joined the Hmong club this year said “I don’t know anybody from the club so far. But once I got in it was really nice. Everybody was so energetic and very nice.”
