“I.S.S (2024)” is an exciting space movie starring Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina, and John Gallagher Jr. Directed by Gabriela Cowperthwaite, the film explores a space conflict between Russians and Americans on the International Space Station. 

The story begins with harmony at the space station, but things take a turn when a war breaks out between the two nations. The movie brings a new twist to the space genre, making it interesting and tense. 

 The visuals, created by Nick Remy Matthews, show space in a cool way, but sometimes you can see the strings holding things up. The story, written by Nick Shafir, has good moments, but sometimes it feels a bit awkward. Director Gabriela Cowperthwaite’s style is there, but sometimes it doesn’t match the rest of the movie. 

 Ariana DeBose as Dr. Kira Foster stands out, and the rest of the cast also does a good job. However, the movie struggles to be as great as the space movies before it. It’s not too long, just 1 hour and 35 minutes, but you might wish there was more to it. 

 Overall, “I.S.S (2024)” is a fun space adventure with good acting and cool space scenes. It tries something new but doesn’t quite reach the level of other space classics. It leaves the viewer with a mix of excitment and wanting more.
