Community Shield, Fa Cup, Club World Cup, Carabao Cup, UEFA Super Cup, Premier League, and Champion League are the trophies that Jurgen Klopp has managed to win in his 9-year tenure at Liverpool. This week, the German manager announced he will be leaving Liverpool at the end of the season bringing to a close what may be Liverpool’s most successful period.
This news came as a shock to many fans as currently the club sits first in the Premier League and has a final in the Carabao Cup to play. However, this in the end will be Klopp’s last dance with the Reds. But what does this mean for the other Premier League clubs? Well, most clubs are happy to see one of the League’s most successful managers depart and Manchester City could take this chance to reimpose their dominance. However, if the right hire is made, it’s hard to imagine, but Liverpool could be more fearsome than before with all the talent they have.
For Liverpool, they are surely motivated to do all they can to win the League and other domestic cups but looking for a better manager to replace Klopp will be difficult, but the likes of Xabi Alonso will be the ones to look out for. An interesting future ahead for Liverpool.
