For this year’s homecoming game, The Edison Tigers hosted the Justing Garza Guardians on Thursday at Sunnyside High. The Tigers fell to the Guardians by a score of 24-22 in heartbreaking fashion. With 12 seconds left, Edison had a chance to make the game-winning field goal. The attempt never happened, as the holder stood up with the ball and was tackled short of the goal line. Edison had an opportunity to win the game, but it fell through at the last second. The Tigers move to 1-7 on the season with senior night coming up next Friday, October 20, 2023.
